Liu Qinghe vomited for a while, before limping and slipping to the ground. Holding her knees, recalling her dream, her body kept shaking.
‘What the hell is that dream?’
The scene in the dream was blurry, and the only thing that was clear was the calendar.
‘Is this some kind of prophecy? No, I shouldn’t jump to conclusions. Maybe it left me with some trauma because I was just resurrected.’
After calming down, she propped herself up and walked to the sink, washing her face and hands. Rubbing the sticky liquid on her fingers, her hands trembled and her face turned pale.
‘What is this? Why did it suddenly appear on my forehead?
The viscous liquid was dark green with a strong stench of decay. When she touched the liquid, it felt like rotting flesh, or even rotting brain matter. Taking a deep breath, she hoped it was just an ordinary dream. It’s impossible for her to be reborn into the apocalypse world, right? God would not be so cruel to her.
Liu Qinghe went to take a bath, and the stench was too heavy to wash off. After taking a shower and sitting on the bed, she flipped through her phone and sent Yang Lihua a message.
[Lihua, are you coming to tomorrow’s class? I want to give you something. ]
Ding! Not long after sending the message, she received a reply from Yang Lihua.
[Yeah, I skipped this class too much. If I skip it again, I need to retake the exam. My mother will skin me alive. Qinghe, what do you want to give me? 】
[Ah, it’s the money for hospital bills. The nurse told me that you had covered me when I was discharged. Thank you Li Hua. 】
Ding!
[This is a small matter. You don’t need to give it back to me. Without you, I don’t know how long it would take the rescue team to find me. We were the last they found. Thank you, Qinghe. *Cute*]
Seeing Yang Lihua’s text message, she smiled.
[Thanks then. I invite you to dinner next time. See you tomorrow. ]
Ding!
【You better not lie to me. *excited gif* I want to eat hot pot near our school tomorrow, thank you in advance QingHe! See you tomorrow! *kiss*]
Liu Qinghe closed his phone, picked up his wallet, and went out to buy groceries. It was still afternoon and she still had time to go out before dinner. Walking on the street, she looked around and saw a thick fog shrouded in the air. The pollution was so bad, it was ten times worse than the world before her. If it goes on like this, maybe the world will really face the end.
When her mood turned gloomy, she sighed. After walking for ten minutes, she arrived at M mart near her home. This is a big supermarket that sells almost everything. From daily necessities, food, beverages, medicines, to the seeds for farming.
She buys ingredients for her dinner. Then, as she walked through the farming area and saw the seeds, a sense of crisis rose in her heart. Not knowing what happened to her, she decided to follow her heart and buy those seeds.
Now that she’s going to buy it, she won’t waste any more time. Liu Qinghe called the market helper and ordered five bags of each available seed.
“Miss, are you sure you want to buy this much? A bag of seeds can be used to grow up to twenty hectares of land. This sack is not small.” The market helper asked.
“Yes. I want to buy that much. If it’s not enough, I might order more. Can I pay with Alipay or WeChat?” Liu Qinghe said.
The helper at the market looked at her for a while, nodded, and said, “Okay. We need your address to send these seeds. The item will be delivered on the same day the payment is completed.”
“Great. I’ll check out now. Thank you for your help.” She said with a smile.
She walked over to the counter to complete the payment and write down her delivery address. After buying the seeds, she went home. Strangely, she felt that her heart was much lighter than before. The heaviness of the pressure on his chest was relieved.
While waiting for the vegetable market to deliver the seeds, Liu Qinghe went to cook a simple dinner for himself. There is a warehouse in the backyard for those less frequently used tools. Putting these seeds in there is perfect. She can put these seeds in the warehouse later.
Ding dong!
Soon after she finished her dinner, her seeds were delivered. When she saw the quantity she ordered, she wondered if she had enough space in her warehouse to store all of them.
“Miss Liu, please sign here.” The delivery man said after unloading the seeds and placing them in the backyard.
“Thank you,” she said as she signed the document.
Walking to her backyard, she saw piles of sacks filling her backyard. Rubbing her forehead, she finally knew why greed always brought trouble. Now, where can she put these seeds? Her warehouse won’t be able to hold all of them.
Just when she was worried about this matter, suddenly, she felt a splitting headache, her vision was blurred, and she barely managed to hold back the pain before closing her eyes.
